In 2007 I transitioned into the field of Decorative Concrete and brought all my knowledge and experience together into this interesting field.  I began teaching in 2016 when Polished Concrete University opened it's doors and love being able to help people train and get the answers they need to be successful too.

 

With more than 30 years of construction experience, 18 of it in Asbestos Abatement and Demolition I have held positions in Warehouse, Operations and Project Management as well as the branch Health and Safety Officer.  In another life I graduated with Honors as a Professional Photographer and was successful in commercial photography and graphic design.

I have held Asbestos Abatement Supervisors Certificates in five States, have 10 & 30 Hour OSHA training, been a Forklift Certified Trainer, hold a CPAA Tradesman Level Certificate, have a CDL drivers license, been approved and operated Heavy Equipment and Skid Steers and operated nearly every type of hand and power tool ever created.... almost.  I am a Certified NewLook Installer, Certified Concrete Moisture Testing Technician from

and a member of International Concrete Repair Institute ( ICRI )

 

To date I have trained over 2,600 students from around the world.

When I'm not working, which is rare, I enjoy target shooting and sporting clays, anything in and around water including sitting on the beach, kayaking or scuba diving; I've been wreck diving since my early 20's in the cold waters of NJ and been to 190 feet in the South Pacific.  I'm fun, serious and sarcastic all at the same time.

​

I have taken my fair share of seminars, training sessions, and been part of manufacturers demonstrations for years. I succeeded and failed many times, but keep coming back.  That's why I based my  curriculum on the good, bad and ugly that I have experienced.  You will only get the best accurate and REAL information!
